An Electrical Engineering Firm Comes of Age Through Brand Work

The Challenge

Established in 1979, Celco Controls Ltd. has grown to be a full service automation solution provider. When Celco first approached Metric with the need for a new website it was apparent many of their existing and potential customers were unaware of their services outside of control paneling. The challenge: to better communicate all of their professional services and eventually help them reach their goal of expanding into other provinces and allowing them to compete on a larger scale.

The Solution

With the overall objective of increasing Celco’s market reach, we implemented a number of changes. Firstly, the brand positioning was refined to create a clear and consistent message with a well-defined personality. The language used in messaging and corporate communications, as well as the brand mark, were standardized to better reflect the company's position and values. Lastly, all communications were designed to better reflect every service offered by Celco – not just control panel manufacturing.

The Results

Celco’s Brand communication is now unmistakably geared towards the value reflected in their products and services with imagery and messaging consistent across all marketing channels (including their new website). We also provided Celco with an awareness strategy and brand structure that allows them to compete with larger players in the industry, regardless of geography.
