How do you do your best work? 

Maybe you like the energy of a crowded, bustling cafe (you know, the type with dogs or folks on first dates). Perhaps you’re more productive when locked in a windowless room with only your favorite podcast for company. 

Everyone works differently, which is why Metric embraces a remote work model that allows our team to work together from anywhere. They can collaborate at a co-working space, take a trip and dial-in digitally, visit our client’s campuses in person, and connect online whenever they need throughout the workday.

Meet Dani: Metric’s Dynamic and Enterprising Marketing Strategist 

A homegrown graduate of Red River College Polytechnic’s Creative Communications program in Winnipeg, Canada, Dani has absolutely embraced our flexible model. In fact, her first few weeks with us saw her logging on from New Zealand. Since then, Dani has been an effective contributor and seamless collaborator from Vancouver, Italy, Ireland, the United States, Morocco, Portugal and more.  At last count, she’s been to 15 different countries during her time here at Metric – working full-time every step of the way. 

“Remote work gives me the freedom to explore, stay creative, and design a lifestyle that actually works for me,” says Dani. “The trust and flexibility makes a difference in how inspired and motivated I feel.”

And it’s not just beneficial for travelling Canadians. 

“It also opens up opportunities for Metric to build more diverse, balanced teams – wherever you’re from,” she says. 

Having a team with so many different perspectives, experiences, backgrounds, and talents means the results we can offer our clients are that much stronger. Our success – and that of our individual team members and schools – is a product of the collective efforts of these passionate people, who are each invested in the outcome of their work.
