Digital Campaign Specialist


You specialize in digital campaign management, with a special affinity for performance analysis. You have a solid understanding of the KPIs tied to specific goals for each stage of the customer journey in marketing, and you know how to optimize campaign performance and tracking for those KPIs. You’ve managed paid campaigns across multiple platforms, and you like to create performance measurement plans, analytics reports and conversion tracking strategies. Your positive and flexible attitude shows up everywhere, whether you’re solving problems or working with people and processes. You are super conscientious, obsessed with consistency and naming conventions, and have a proven track record of using data to improve campaign performance. You know your way around Google Analytics (GA), Google Tag Manager (GTM), Google Data Studio, Facebook & Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter and other common paid social media marketing platforms.


As a digital campaign specialist, you’ll manage and optimize digital marketing campaigns across various platforms on a monthly basis. As an analytics specialist, you’ll own conversion tracking and implementation for those campaigns. You’ll develop measurement plans, perform analytics audits, set up and manage new GTM accounts, manage changes to legacy GTM accounts, set up and manage social pixel tracking, set up custom conversions and help with campaign reporting in Google Data Studio. You’ll summarize the optimizations you’ve made and make recommendations for improved performance. You’ll also investigate, debug and improve legacy website tracking. Essentially, this role is a combination of campaign management and campaign analytics and tracking. 

Main Roles

  • Manage & optimize paid campaigns (Google Search, GDN, social media)

  • Develop & implement GTM tracking strategy

  • Develop & implement social/ad pixel tracking strategy

  • Audit & optimize GA accounts

  • Set up & manage cross-domain tracking

  • Recommend improvements/optimizations on an ongoing basis

  • Field questions about conversion tracking

  • Assist with Google Data Studio reporting
