You’ve been working in the industry for 5+ years (likely as a marketing strategist, brand strategist, copywriter, or strategic marketer) - and you’re looking for an opportunity to work with a dynamic agency team where you can jump in and collaborate with experienced colleagues. You are passionate about marketing and branding, and constantly learning to stay ahead of what’s happening in the industry. You bring lots of ideas and recommendations - but never your ego. ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a mid-level position - you’ll come to the table with some experience, but you’re looking for a place to continue building your career with increasing responsibility. Your days will be full with work on assessment and platform/positioning projects for brands and campaigns, creative idea generation, copywriting, and research as you collaborate with our internal team and with our clients. You might be interviewing a group of stakeholders, researching target audience profiles, brainstorming concepts, writing ad copy, or presenting to a Metric client. With guidance and support from our creative director, you’ll see our clients’ projects through from preliminary research to completed creative campaigns in market - then use data to optimize and improve our strategic approach and increase each campaign’s ROI.
Lead research and assessment work for brands and campaigns
Develop strategies for brand platform/positioning projects and marketing campaigns
Collaborate in the development of creative concepts
Write clear and compelling copy for digital and traditional ad campaigns, presentations, and other deliverables
Conduct interviews, workshops, and focus groups with clients and stakeholders
Edit and proofread copy for yourself and others
Collaborate with teams, initiate ideas, and take direction
Completed a relevant post-secondary program such as Business Administration or Creative Communications
5+ years of relevant experience (developing brand and marketing strategies, developing creative concepts, conducting research, copywriting and editing)
Exceptional ability to communicate through written content - including strategy documents, presentations, ad copy, and more
Exceptional presentation skills
Experience using marketing measurement and analytics tools such as Google Analytics
Experience using market research tools such as Survey Monkey
Experience using the Google suite of products (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides)
Prior work on email marketing strategy, social media strategy, or video storyboarding an asset
