NewLeaf Travel is an emerging ultra low-cost travel company based in Winnipeg, MB. They provide domestic travellers with low fares (and a la carte airline extras) to select, underserved North American destinations.

In Fall 2015, with only a logo to their name, NewLeaf approached a number of agencies including Metric with a unique opportunity to develop a new brand. Our branding experts committed to delivering a brand concept that spoke to NewLeaf’s ‘no frills’ approach to disrupting Canadian air travel.

NewLeaf loved the pitch, and this flourished into a partnership that saw our contribution expand to include the design and construction of their corporate website and the production of a number of assets, including press conference and social media materials. In the lead up to their launch in January 2016, our creative and accounts teams worked closely with NewLeaf to provide valuable digital and strategic marketing advice.
